A Small Database on PolyneuropathyU Peak Size Therapy Prognosis

This paper presents an application of a new approach on chaining decision rules to medical domain, which enables us to extract not only simple rules but also the network structure of the induced rules from databases automatically. The experimental results show that this method extracts the structure of decisions of medical experts more clearly, which suggests that this method will give a more powerful tool to acquire how medical experts make complicated decisions in a complex situation.
